We have numerous lakes, rivers and stream which could not be clearer and cleaner.
A paradise for those to who love to on, near or in the water. Just pick one of the many activities such as:
- swimming in our local lake with a ponton and jumping board
- Canoe and raft rentals
- Rafttour with our 40m2 including fishing and BBQ
- Rowing or motor boat rental, by the hour, day or even multiple days.

The area around Gargnaes is a true paradise for fishing in some of the cleanest and last unchanged rivers and streams pf Europe. A walk, or a very short ride away, the wild rivers Gargan and Vindelalven unite and harbour Salmon, trout, greyling, pike and bass among many other species and belong to the most productive , but least fished waters in Sweden.
- on a stretch of ~100km you can fish the above named species in numerous rivers, streams and lakes.
- The host spot for Salmon fishing is a 25km stretch of the Vinelalven river with many pools and rapids.
- The Gargan, with the small side stream Staggbaecken is an excellent flyfishing option.
- In the many lakes are large bass, pike and carp (among others).
The season in rivers and streams starts in mid June and lasts until mid September.
In the lakes you can fish from Mai until October.
Salmon fishing is very popular in our area because of the high chances of catching salmon in the Vindelalven river, substantially higher than in most other rivers in Sweden.
On top of that, the Norwegian coast is only a 3.5h drive away and we can organize unforgettable saltwater fishing trips.
We can rent fishing gear and everything else that may be required upon request such as:
- Boat rental (with and without engine and echo-sounder (fish finder))

- Guided fishing trips with local guides
- Fishing permits

Enless plains, reindeer and a northern climate give the "Norrland" its very own distinct character which is waiting to be discovered. You can:

as a guide for unforgettable pictures at the most beautiful spots in the area

- Rafting-trips on the diverse rivers of the area
- Bike rental for leisure trips around Gargnaes, and if wanted, more sportive tours into the local hills.

- Mouth-watering and locally renowned pizza from the stone oven
- Changing dishes of the day

- Original "Berliner Currywurst"
- A daily lunch menu is planned in the near future
